Caxais beach is close to Sintra and has a little fort in ruins. We spent a lovely afternoon at the beach where Gareth and Cooper virtually stayed in the cold waters throughout. Since it was super windy with our beach umbrella flying 3-4 times we headed out to the beach restaurant 'Pria dos Golfinhos' and explored the other side of the creek where schools of fish passed by.
