Went for the fair in our area 'Villa de Prada' and picked up Portuguese cockerel souvenirs like table cloth, bags, and a cute apron. We headed out to Geres through the winding roads from one mountain through another. We made many pit stops to enjoy the view and see the vineyards. The last stop was for me to throw up as I could not stomach the winding roads!!!! We had lunch at Adega Ramalho restaurant and left them a souvenir from Dubai signed from us ❤️. The waitress said she traveled to Srilanka, India (Goa, Mumbai and Chennai) and put up her rupees and srilankan currency on display too ❤️. We passed by the lovely coast with a little beach and everyone out in the waters on the speedboats. We checked in our hotel 'O Pimpao' and decided to go to the tourism department to ask where we could head out to. We headed out to Miradouro da Pedra Bela and O what a drive and view - breathtaking. We drove to Cascata do rio Arado hoping to bath in the spring waters but since the summers dried the accessible parts of the waterfalls we opted out the steep climb in order to take a peek at the waterfalls and the rough walk over rocks to take a bath. Sadly we drove to Emirada a little village with grapes growing by the road side and various fruits and beautiful homes. We decided to call it a day after a sumptuous meal of clams and pullao whilst Gareth and Swithun walloped Chicken and meats like the Vikings at the hotel restaurant. The staff had all women working and they were so friendly and lovely just like the rest of the people in Portugal❤️❤️❤️.
