23nd July 2016
It was a a day on the beach. Beach toys and sun screen, swimming suit and Yolanda and family drove Costa de Caparica via 25th April bridge and it was lovely to cross over the famous bridge and see the statue of miniature model of Christ the Redeemer. We landed there and it was packed with almost all the people in Portugal. I have never see such a riot ever!! We found a spot, a congested one in my opinion, enough just for us 6. And thank god Alexander packed his beach umbrella. They packed some delicious sandwiches for all.
We striped into our swimming clothes and the kids got busy with making sand castles. Gareth headed for the beach and brought many buckets of water for his 'St George castle'. Whilst Cooper made sand turtle reliefs and Raquel made sand balls. We later went to dip our feet in the cold water and since the flag was red, we were not suppose to get into the sea. Cooper kept throwing his turtle in the water and it drifted in the little stream. Gareth enjoyed the sea like never before till the end. Alexander ensured he wet his head in the chill water and he so enjoyed it. We later searched for sea shells and drew on the sand. We reached home late evening and were very happy after our shower.
